It was so popular with locals and there were people waiting. The soup, main dish, and juice were so delicious.I am glad that the portions are large, many others left too much. Also the price is little higher than the other restaurants because of this.I shared meals with my son, still couldn’t finish it.The wait staff were all nice and very smiling and waving to my son.I would go there again when I want to fill up my stomach.

Magnificent. Cash only, Spanish menu, no English, but the food was so great and decent, it’s the softest and juiciest fried chicken breast I’ve ever had. I even asked the señora about the recipe of the chili sauce. If you want some authentic local food, must try here.

I visited this restaurant with a friend. I had diarrhea in the morning and had no appetite.I told them so, they made special soup for me. My friend had the same soup, but it seemed the ingredients were slightly different. First, I couldn't eat because the taste was too strange for me. Later on, it cooled down and tasted better, and I could be able to finish the soup. My stomach felt so much better after that. What a nice people with good food with good price. They charged only 6 soles for me. My friend was very happy with her chicken, which came with rice and some veggies. They charged 17 soles for her chicken and soup. !!

When traveling abroad I always want to eat in a very local place also - a place with homey foods and local customers. This is the place and I was not expecting so good food! The daily menu had a hearty soup and main dish with rice, potatoes, schnitzel and some veggies. The service is warm, the venue is lively and the prices unbeatable. They also offer takeaway. My meal with a beer cost 25soles.The only thing is the restroom - better visit some other place for that

Visiting from Chicago and was looking for very local cuisine. We randomly ended up here, intrigued by the lemon pie in the case in front. Ended up eating “the menu” which comes with a soap chairo (a chicken based soup) and a second entree: Lomo Saltado (stir fried beef, vegetables, and rice) and Trucha Dorada (fried trout, rice, lentils). Also comes with (a sweet red corn drink). Very local. No english, but you can point or use Google Translate on the menu if needed. Recommended if you’re looking for local eats. Atmosphere is typical and not fancy at all, but honest and genuine.

An amazing local restaurant with great local atmosphere! We ordered the menu which costs 17 soles and got a soup, main course and beverage l. The chicken soup was so creamy and rich and for the second dish we got a lomo soltado which was very generous and tasty and also the chicken filled with cheese and ham where the chicken was so tensor and tasty and was amazing! We had a great meal here!
